DESCRIPTION:L’Afrique est devenue une nouvelle frontière perçue\, sinon comme incontournable\, comme un relais de croissance possible dans la stratégie des entreprises du monde. La CCI Paris Île-de-France et le Comité d’échanges franco-japonais ont organisé ce Forum autour de 220 responsables d’entreprises africains\, français et japonais. Pierre-Antoine Gailly\, Président de la CCI\, a appelé à un partenariat tripartite pour qu’entreprises françaises et japonaises mutualisent leurs atouts afin d’accompagner le développement de l’Afrique\, désormais deuxième pôle de croissance mondial après l’Asie. \nPour l’ambassadeur du Japon\, SEM Yoichi Suzuki\, le modèle japonais de développement comporte des enseignements utiles pour l’Afrique\, en particulier le rôle fondamental de la formation professionnelle: le Japon s’est ainsi engagé à former 1000 étudiants Africains dans ses universités\, incluant des stages en entreprises. Le Japon et la France\, dont les actions s’inscrivent dans la durée\, ont des champs de coopération très prometteurs dans ce domaine comme dans celui des infrastructures. A aussi été évoqué le succès du partenariat du Japonais Mitsui avec GDF-Suez au Maroc et en Afrique du Sud dans le domaine de l’énergie\, permettant ainsi une meilleure maîtrise du risque pour chacun. \nLors des débats\, Lionel Zinsou\, Président de PAI Partners\, a estimé qu’il y a encore un retard en France dans le regard sur le changement en Afrique par rapport aux investisseurs émergents\, alors que le potentiel de l’Afrique est illimité. Il cite la trajectoire du Nigéria\, qui montre clairement que l’Afrique n’est plus le continent du « temps long ». Mesurant tout le chemin parcouru dans la perception de l’Afrique par les entreprises\, Louis Schweitzer\, Commissaire général à l’investissement\, a relevé qu’un forum d’une telle ampleur n’aurait jamais pu être organisé il y a dix ans. Quelques jours plus tard\, au Sénat français\, soit  le 10 juin\, le groupe interparlementaire France-Chine a également traité du « Partenariat franco-chinois\, cas d’école pour la diplomatie économique ». DESCRIPTION:Africa has become a new frontier perceived\, if not as an unavoidable\, as a possible growth driver in the strategy of the world’s companies. The CCI Paris Île-de-France and the Franco-Japanese Trade Committee organized this Forum around 220 African\, French and Japanese business leaders. Pierre-Antoine Gailly\, President of the ICC\, called for a tripartite partnership so that French and Japanese companies could pool their assets to support the development of Africa\, now the second largest growth pole in the world after Asia. \nFor Japan’s Ambassador\, HEM Yoichi Suzuki\, the Japanese development model includes useful lessons for Africa\, in particular the fundamental role of vocational training: Japan has committed itself to train 1000 African students in its universities\, including internships in companies. Japan and France\, whose actions are long-term\, have very promising areas of cooperation in this field as well as in infrastructure. The success of Mitsui’s Japanese partnership with GDF-Suez in Morocco and South Africa in the field of energy was also mentioned\, thus allowing better risk management for everyone. \nDuring the debates\, Lionel Zinsou\, President of PAI Partners\, considered that there is still a delay in France in looking at change in Africa compared to emerging investors\, while Africa’s potential is unlimited. He cites Nigeria’s trajectory\, which clearly shows that Africa is no longer the continent of « long time ». Measuring how far companies have come in their perception of Africa\, Louis Schweitzer\, Commissioner General for Investment\, noted that a forum of this magnitude could never have been organised ten years ago. A few days later\, in the French Senate\, on June 10\, the France-China interparliamentary group also discussed the « Franco-Chinese partnership\, a textbook case for economic diplomacy ». On several occasions and in particular by Jean-Pierre Raffarin\, the African continent has been mentioned as the privileged field of Sino-French cooperation. \nFor more information: \nDownload the report of the Forum
