In an intellectual-globalized world where the quest for self now covers almost all areas of life such as politics, social, cultural, economic and religious life; the need to explore, to analyze reality in the South of the planet, implies making an inventory of the past, the future and the present since the emergence of African civilization in the intellectual landscape.<\/p>\n

It is therefore particularly incumbent on African intellectuals and their diaspora to create the conditions for free access to knowledge of the works that have shaped consciences, marked intellectual debates since the last century; and nowadays those that inspire research and the new critical spirit on the continent. In a desire to understand, to forge new instruments and objects capable of making intelligible a contemporary world in which we are told that the brain drain goes from South to North, while wealth is in the South and wealth is in the North; anomie in the \u201cpost-colonies\u201d and organization in metropolises.<\/p>\n

Hence this collection of selective bibliographies of literary and scientific works produced on the continent as a fundamental documentary platform made available to students, researchers and citizens of sub-Saharan Africa and those of the world in general.<\/p>\n

Based on a rigorous selection, this collection of bibliographies is a review of Basic Texts<\/strong>, General Monographs<\/strong>, books on Methodological Problems<\/strong> and Reviews<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
